    • New lighting fixtures and installation of movement sensors at New York, 60 Wall Street
    • Optimization of lighting monitoring (Germany)
    • Adjustment of the operation hours of heating/air conditioning (Germany, New York)
    • Installation of a new chiller equipped with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) (New York)
    • Use of LED advertising lights (Germany)
    Plans for 2010
    • Extension of the “Green Building” certification program in line with the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen, German Sustainable Building Council) guidelines
    • Introduction of regular energy audits for all major buildings
    • Introduction of energy consumption measuring standards and central energy consumption monitoring
    • Extending the analysis of energy and other building-related data
    • Global extension of energy-efficient internal and external lighting systems (e.g. LEDs)
    • Including energy efficiency clauses in more rental agreements for buildings managed by the landlords
    • Introduction of the “European Energy Performance Buildings Directive” (EPDB), including the use of energy performance certificates (EPC) and display energy certificates in the management of rental agreements
