As a member of the Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) division, DB Advisors is part of one of the first investment organizations to offer change-related investment opportunities to its clients. DeAM launched its first climate change mutual fund in 2006, and in 2007 became the first asset manager to launch a climate change mutual fund in the US.

World's first real-time carbon counter
In 2009, DB Climate Change Advisors – part of the DeAM global organization – launched the world's first real-time carbon counter, designed to track the level of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. With carbon levels at an 800,000-year high – and still rising fast – the need to take action now is pressing. Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
In February 2008, Deutsche Bank Asset Management (DeAM) signed the Principles for Responsible Investment, published by the United Nations (UN PRI). The six Principles for Responsible Investment, which are voluntarily complied with by the signatories, were developed by an international group of institutional investors. They reflect the growing importance of sustainability issues for investment decisions and provide a framework designed to help investors to take ecological and social issues as well as corporate governance aspects (ESG issues) into account in their investment decisions. more
