An eco-friendly, world class office complex
Deutsche Bank, one of India’s leading foreign banks, today announced the opening of its new office tower in Goregaon, Mumbai. This state-of-the-art, environment friendly facility, located within Nirlon Knowledge Park, will house operational and support teams of Deutsche Bank. The facility was inaugurated by Hermann-Josef Lamberti, Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Management Board & the Group Executive Committee, Deutsche Bank and Gunit Chadha, Chief Executive Officer, Deutsche Bank, India, on the occasion of Deutsche Bank completing 30 years in India.
The office complex spanning over 200000 square feet is designed to cut Carbon emissions, energy and water consumption per person over conventional construction and operation. The complex also provides optimum accessibility and facilities designed for differently abled people.
Announcing the opening of the Goregaon centre, Mr. Lamberti, said “I am delighted that this new facility takes forward the philosophy of the Bank in creating environmentally sustainable and efficient workspaces for our people. This is a state-of-the-art office that will eventually house over 1400 of our staff making them part of our global operational network.”
Deutsche Bank ranks among the leading banks of the world in its commitment to sustainability and is currently refurbishing its Global Headquarters in Frankfurt to create one of the most eco-friendly high-rise buildings in the world.
Gunit Chadha said, “The inauguration of our Goregaon facility in the 30th year of Deutsche Bank in India is a reflection of the tremendous growth of our franchise in India. The facility has been constructed keeping in mind Deutsche Bank’s global commitment to sustainability and we are targeting a LEED Gold Certification for this building complex. As our franchise continues to gain positive momentum in India, we are committed to build workspaces which are eco friendly and impact our human capital & our environment in a positive manner."
