Solar Impulse

As an innovator in the financial sector, Deutsche Bank promotes innovation in other areas as well – with a clear emphasis on sustainability. This is because we are convinced: that economic success, social responsibility and future viability are inextricably linked. Supporting the Solar Impulse pioneer project demonstrates that attitude in concrete terms: flying around the world in a manned solar aircraft is a ground-breaking project that aims to shift the limits of what is feasible. The cornerstones of this success: state-of-the-art technology, pioneering spirit and smart management of resources. In conjunction with its climate strategy, Deutsche Bank has been supporting Solar Impulse as a main partner since 2006.
