December 15, 2011 – SunPower Corp., a manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar modules and photovoltaic systems that is based in Silicon Valley, will be supplying solar cells for the Solar Impulse HB-SIB aircraft that is scheduled to fly around the world in 2014.
